Describe a specific person or business you hope to help. Avoid starting with everyone. A focused audience makes your first conversations more useful.

## What do they do today?

Understand how people currently solve the problem, what frustrates them and what they are willing to change. Listen before building a solution.

## What are you assuming?

Separate things you have observed from things you believe. Write down the assumption that would most change your idea if it turned out to be wrong.

## What can you test simply?

Start with a conversation, a sketch or a small demonstration. Look for evidence of interest before committing to a large build.
